One of my elder's thought this was one of my best sermons, so I finally decided to post it.
When Christ calls Himself 'the Bread of Life' He is referring both to the manna and the barley loaves of John 6.
The 6 Main points of this sermon are:
The language of Eating and Drinking refers to Faith.
1. Faith is like eating in that you trust it will produces life.
2. Faith is like eating in that you trust it will satisfy your hunger.
3. Faith is like eating in that they are both acts of receiving.
4. Faith is like eating in that both are needed daily.
5. Faith is like eating in that in both you have the opportunity to have as much as you want.
6. Faith is like eating in that both produce the result of becoming one with their objects.
The concluding point is how the Bread of Life points to the cross.
